In the ongoing fight for Civil Rights and Social Justice in this country, we seek to uplift and educate throughout all of our endeavors, as Social Action is basic to ministry in African Methodism.

The AME church was born in protest against slavery and the dehumanization of African people brought to America and has a unique history as the first major denomination in the Western World that had its origin over sociological and theological beliefs and differences.

We declare that God is God all the time, and for everybody as we seek to play a major role in shaping the lives of not only our parishioners, but the entire community.
